The Sandusky Farmers Market is all about community! There are several ways in which you can get involved at our farmers market. We have opportunities for volunteers, vendors, entertainers and more! See the options below and reach out today!
Volunteer
Community Volunteers Needed

There is always a need for community volunteers at our market. Opportunities are available for service hours, scouts, class credits or if you just want to pay it forward by lending a helping hand!
Current needs include, but are not limited to:
-Helping to set up barricades at 8am and taking them down at noon each Saturday.
-Putting out the trash cans prior to 8am and removing them at noon each Saturday.
-Helpers to assist the elderly in carrying items to their cars.
-Assisting vendors with setting up/tearing down their tents if needed.

Hours vary and are available for however long you are able or would like to help!

Vendors
Become a Vendor​
We are not currently accepting vendors for the 2022 season yet. Please continue to check the "Home" and "Blog" pages on this website for updates.
There are opportunities for farmers, growers, artists and entrepreneurs. All goods, produce and items must be hand or home made and produced by you. We aren't looking for any "re-sale" type vendors at this time.

Please carefully read the general information below before inquiring. An approved Application is required. We do not allow showing up on the day of to participate. Please keep in mind that, if approved, you can expect 1-2 weeks, after applying, before you will be able to start at the market.

There are 2 options for becoming a vendor: Transient & Permanent.
Transient for those whom are not able to come every week. Transient vendors are required to sign up on a weekly basis for the week that they wish to attend and must pay their rent via Venmo or Paypal in advance. The deadline each week to sign up is 4pm on Wednesday. Transient vendors will change spaces week to week and are not guaranteed the same space each time.Vendors who no show or cancel often may not be asked back.
Permanent for those who plan to attend every market throughout the season. Vendors should be there every week unless in case of emergency or prior notice is given so that we can fill the space for that week. Permanent vendors have the flexibility to pay in advance via Venmo or Paypal OR on the day of via exact cash or check made payable to Sandusky State Theatre. Permanent vendors are assigned a permanent space for the entire season. Vendors who no show or cancel often may not be asked back.
Vendors supply their own tents, chairs, tables, etc. Vendor space assignments will be chosen and assigned by Sandusky Farmer's Market on a first come first served basis. Only Park spaces can be chosen by the vendors at this time.
NOTICE* This is an outside event and it will be hard to avoid the sun. We recommend bringing a tent if you have a product that is sensitive to the sun. While we try to do our best, we do not guarantee anyone a specific space. It is impossible to ensure everyone can be in the shade. We are not responsible for keeping you out of the sun. The sun often changes direction several times in the 4 hour timeframe of the farmers market. Please choose to attend at your own discretion.

Entertainment
Musician's Welcome
Are you a solo musician? Do you have a band or orchestra? Are you musically talented? Apply to plat at the Sandusky Farmers Market! Currently, all musicians play for tips.

Fundraising
Fundraising at the Market
​
We allow fundraising for scouts, churches, relief programs and more. Fundraisers get assigned (1) "vendor" space and will get (1) free day for fundraising at the market. If you wish to attend for more Saturdays after your 1 free day, we ask that you pay the vendor fee for your space.
